The IEC Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, building, installing, and commissioning various
industrial controls in a variety of conditions. This may include some programming, panel building, trouble
shooting and light electrical work. Bonus points for paper industry experience. All employees must act
with urgency, accountability, and flexibility to ensure that the Wescom core values are always followed.

- Safely and efficiently troubleshoots electrical systems that includes but
are not restricted to PLC troubleshooting & repair, drive troubleshooting
& repair, and instrumentation & controls.
- Builds and troubleshoots Logic systems and performs electrical circuit
troubleshooting & repair.
- Assists with conduit & wire installation, lighting repair, troubleshooting
& repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission and conveyor
systems.
- Performs repairs and preventative maintenance during routine and
extended outages.
- Logs and reports issues and provides feedback for long-term machine
use/efficiency.
- Attends onsite training as required by the company.
- Assists in developing equipment strategies including spare part stocking,
PM optimization, and PdM.
- Communicates with operators while troubleshooting equipment.
- Support all projects as assigned.
- Be an active safety role model and follow all safety requirements.
