The Position: We are looking for an oilfield maintenance electrician. The pay starts at $40 per hour and
goes up based on experience, we love paying people what they are worth. We work 50-60 hours a week
in the oilfield and have great producers that we work for. Send us a resume with your experience,

RESPONSIBILITIES
AND DUTIES
- Electrical Systems & Controls
- Installations & Maintenance, familiar with Materials used in the Oil and gas
Industry such as Airguard, MCHL,
- Explosion proof connectors, and Heat Trace.
- Generators & Transformers
- Switches & Circuit Breakers
- Electrical Code, Safety & QA
- Using Wiring Diagrams to locate root cause of issues while troubleshooting
- Function testing using either Trex/475-meter, hand pumps or computer
software of Oil Field related instrumentation- o Pressure Transmitters,
temperature transmitters, Flow Meters, and any other device that uses 4-
20mA signal or Modbus to communicate.

- Troubleshooting of Motors using insulation testing equipment or other
metering devices
- Troubleshooting of Starter Control Panels o Set up and troubleshoot
Lufkin, Liberty, Weatherford pump off controllers o Proficient with Rod up
Safety Controls such as Vibrations Switches, Oil Catch
- Can/Pollution Pot, Crank Sensors, RPM Sensors, and Load Cells of Electrical
and instrumentation on Oil field production facilities, SWDs and
compressor stations o Calibration and setup of H2s, LEL and Fire Eye
Devices
- Familiar with PLCs and understand Digital Inputs, Digital Outputs, Analog
Inputs, Outputs and
- Modbus Communications.
- Familiar with setting up and function testing VFDs. o Power Flex, Toshiba,
Siemens, GE and ABB
- Familiar with HART communication and the Process behind using a 4-20mA
signal and simulating
- 4-20mA using process meters.

QUALIFICATIONS - Good employee interpersonal communication skills
- Great Attitude
- High School diploma
- 3+ years in oilfield I&E maintenance
- Willingness and desire to learn and be trained.
SALARY $50.00+ an hour, depending on experience.
HOURS Expect 50+ hours a week with overtime as needed.
CAREER PATH The Oilfield I&E Tech report to the Client Services Managers or Foreman of their
area. There are several career paths available to the right individual including
moving up to foreman, Client Services Manager, over to the Industrial Controls
team, safety, or other operations. Wescom believes in people and is always willing
