Shane’s Bakken Trip Reflections

A black mountain bike and a coffee cup rest on a stone table overlooking an empty baseball field with green grass under a cloudy sky at sunset.

The Bakken trip was a huge success! But don’t just take our word for it, Shane Stolp, the Wescom CEO, had this to say about the trip, “A bike ride Saturday morning to a small and pleasant coffee shop that employs people who want you to come and a trip around town seeing gorgeous homes, campers, bikes, kayaks, pools, and other indicators of family life ends here at the American Legion Park in Watford City, ND. Today our field teams will once again be taught how to play ball from the office team. Their families will enjoy the water park and good food. There might be a few things after to talk about as we head home:

  • Thursday morning Watford City safety meeting and employee check-ins
  • Thursday client appreciation lunch in New Town
  • Thursday afternoon site visits
  • Thursday evening dinner with folks
  • Friday night’s fishing
  • Friday employee wedding (congrats Andrew – it was quite funny when the rings fell)
  • Friday Williston client appreciation BBQ
  • Friday morning site visits

And they say ND is boring?!? “Get out of the big city and come experience real America. We are hiring.”
