Meeting Renewable Mandates with Innovative Solar Solutions

At Wescom, we understand the complexities utility companies face when striving to meet renewable energy mandates, particularly when a portion of that requirement must come from small-scale solar systems of 40kW or less. We’re proud to have partnered with utility companies to deliver scalable, innovative solutions that simplify compliance while driving sustainable energy goals forward.

By leveraging our expertise in electrical services and control systems, Wescom has been instrumental in:

Designing and Installing Small-Scale Solar Solutions

We’ve worked with utilities to design and install distributed solar systems under 40kW that meet regulatory standards while optimizing energy output and efficiency.

Modernizing Infrastructure for Solar Integration

Our team specializes in upgrading legacy control systems to handle the complexities of renewable energy integration, ensuring seamless management of small-scale solar inputs without overhauling familiar user interfaces.

Providing Real-Time Monitoring and Reporting

Utilities benefit from our cutting-edge monitoring solutions, enabling precise tracking of energy contributions from smaller solar installations to verify compliance with mandates.

Streamlining Interconnection Processes

Wescom has assisted utilities in expediting interconnection agreements, reducing timelines for bringing small solar projects online while maintaining grid reliability.

As the push for renewable energy accelerates, Wescom remains committed to helping utility companies meet evolving standards and exceed expectations. Together, we’re creating a cleaner, brighter energy future—one small solar system at a time.

Why Everyone Should Learn CPR

Knowing CPR can make the difference between life and death in an emergency. Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere and immediate action is critical. Learning CPR empowers you to act confidently and potentially save a life. Here’s a guide to performing CPR:

  1. Check Responsiveness- Tap the person and shout, “Are you okay?” If there’s no response, call 911 immediately or ask someone else to do so.
  2. Position the Person- Lay them flat on their back on a firm surface and open their airway by tilting their head back slightly and lifting their chin.
  3. Check for Breathing- Look, listen, and feel for breathing for no more than 10 seconds. If they’re not breathing or only gasping, start CPR.
  4. Begin Chest Compressions- Place the heel of one hand on the center of their chest and the other hand on top. Push hard and fast, at least 2 inches deep and at a rate of 100–120 compressions per minute. Let the chest rise fully between compressions.
  5. Give Rescue Breaths (if trained)- After 30 compressions, give 2 rescue breaths. Pinch the nose, seal your mouth over theirs, and breathe in for 1 second. Watch for the chest to rise. Continue cycles of 30:2 until help arrives or the person starts breathing.

A CPR course provides hands-on practice and ensures you’re prepared for emergencies. Find a class near you today—you could save a life! ❤️
